Kawasemi

An open and airy log cabin

Kawasemi is a vacation rental situated on a hill next to Tojoyama Park in Saita-cho, Mitoyo, Kagawa. This warm and cozy log cabin was named Kawasemi (meaning "kingfisher") for the bird of the same name in honor of the owner's father, a longtime nature-lover. The view from the windows shows nature all around, including mikan orange orchards and, off in the distance, Ibukijima Island and the Shippozan mountains. With no nearby light sources, night time reveals the starry sky in all its splendor.
