Manpukuji Temple
Known for multiple varieties of beautiful wisteria
Often called "Wisteria Temple" by locals, Manpukuji Temple is within earshot of the Saita River. This temple is best know for its wisteria trellis, where multiple varieties of this climbing vine bloom each year in Spring, drawing visitors from throughout the surrounding area. Grown with the care and skill like that found in a botanical garden, the thick curtain of flowers delights visitors year after year.
Wisteria typically bloom late April through early May.
