【Mitoyo, Kagawa】 This inn is located in an area called Hako (box) on the Shonai Peninsula, where bits and pieces from the traditional legend Urashima Taro still remain (such as Hako/box referring to the scene when Urashima Taro opens the tamatebako - or treasure box). Originally a 100-year old fisherman house, the building has been renovated and reopened as a guest house. The facilities are plentiful enough to allow a large crowd to relax and feature 4 tatami rooms, a living room, kitchen, washroom, and showers. When the weather is good, you can stargaze from the veranda on the second floor. The ocean and mountains are nearby, so you can enjoy nature and then have a relaxing time!
