【Mitoyo, Kagawa】 Standing quietly in the middle of rice fields, this 75 year old traditional kominka house, which is sure to leave an impression of the local history and lifestyle, offers a hybrid mix of guest house and coworking space. Come take a load off after enjoying a busy day of sightseeing with local stops at Chihibugahama Beach (aka the Uyuni Salt Flat of Japan), the torii gate in the sky Takaya Jinja Shrine, various famous udon shops, the Zenigata Sunae sand coin, or stops along the pilgrimage route.
At this inn you can try taking a goemon bath, which is a clay tub heated directly over a fire, or enjoy other adventures such as yacht sailing on the sea near the inn, or horse riding at Ariake Beach.
After all of your adventures, you can flop down on the tatami floor and relax. Many types of travelers will find this guesthouse style inn the perfect base to use as an on and off switch for work and play - from friend groups and families, to single travelers and remote work business people.
