Mt. Shiude Archaeological Museum and Cafe

Relax into a window seat and drink in the view.

The peak of Mt. Shiude is 352 meters above sea level and the site of a highland settlement from the Yayoi period. Artifacts excavated from the mountain are on display in the museum, and recreations of Yayoi-period dwellings are displayed just outside. The museum also offers light refreshment, and has window seating that looks out over the Seto Inland Sea. Enjoy the past and present together in one.
