Takayajinja Shrine

Located 404 meters above sea level on Mt. Inazumi, the main shrine of Takayajinja is popularly called "Inazumijinja" or "Inazumi-san" and has a panoramic view of Kan-onji and the Seto Inland Sea. The mountaintop torii gate is often called "the skyview torii gate," and was selected as one of the 88 View Spots on Shikoku in 2018.
Due to increasing traffic on the narrow road up the mountain, no personal vehicles are permitted to travel to the main shrine on weekends or holidays. Visitors should hike or take the shuttle bus from Ariake Ground in Kotohiki Park.
